Albert Heiser - AH, studied at the Berlin University of the Arts and has received numerous awards for his creative achievements in advertising. He has developed visionary campaigns for banks, automobiles and public utilities. His artistic journey has taken him from creative director to an artist. He has honed his skills on painting excursions in Canada, the USA, Italy, Japan and Peru. Breaking away from the conventions of watercolor painting, AH liberates the genre from its traditional clichés. His painting style, application of pigment, choice of motif and the size of his paintings redefine the aquarelle art form. A mixture of translucent and opaque pigments creates a vivid array of color on the soft texture of the paper. Realistic and abstract elements merge into something new.
