Albertyna Kacalak, a Polish painter, has exhibited nationally as well as in Italy and Germany. Her landscapes are created using a code of abstraction, expressing emotion and spiritual states. Through continuous exploration, Kacalak observes the world through painting, rejecting all unnecessary details so that only the essence of the image remains. She paints using a glazing technique, along with oils and undercoats of acrylics, also employing dry pigments and pastes in her compositions.
