About this artwork
Line and colour in space, inscribed a grid structure. The tite alludes to a chlldren's game with coloured sticks. I work with lines and plans in space. The idea of a children's games is related to aleatory orders and to the idea of impermanence. Nothing stands the same for ever.
This painting was presented in my solo show at the Museum of Fine Arts of Tandil in 2016, and was selected in the Manuel Belgrano Painting Prize 2016, and exhibited at… the Sivori Museum of Buenos Aires in 2017.

Alejandra Repetto Escardó is a Río de la Plata–based visual artist whose work approaches emptiness as an active, generative, and symbolic field. Influenced by Constructive Universalism and Zen Buddhist thought, she explores the persistence of the sacred and the infinite as a continuum running through the different stages of her practice.
From early monochromes to increasingly refined geometric forms, her practice has evolved toward an economy of means, exemplified in series such as Entre líneas y alternancias, Juego de niños, Trinidades, and Infinito.
In recent years, her work has turned toward the horizon and landscape as contemplative structures that reconfigure perception and space. Current research extends this inquiry toward indigenous American cosmologies, particularly the Chakana, understanding geometry as a metaphysical structure through which perception, territory, and cosmos converge.
