Alejandro Alegüe—also known as AGÜD—is a Colombian artist and graphic designer with over 14 years of experience in painting and muralism. His works have appeared in urban spaces in Colombia, as well as in Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Italy, and the United States.
Her practice focuses on childhood as a symbolic and political territory, and for over eight years she has developed community art processes with social impact in marginalized neighborhoods, border areas, and rural territories. Through art, I seek to make visible, heal, and collectively resist realities marked by inequality and structural violence.
In 2024, she formalized the "We Are Still Children" methodology (through a research process with the Universidad Colegiatura Colombiana), based on play, active listening, and collaborative creation. Her work is fueled by direct contact with communities and a belief in art as an act of dignity, memory, and transformation.
