Esta pieza es un homenaje al arte pop de los años 60, una fascinación por la corriente que desde joven el artista tiene. Claramente es un homenaje a las latas Campbell´s del artista Andy Warhol. esta pieza es un óleo sobre tela y es de una época bastante colorida de Arango. Con un personaje alocado que nos recuerda a aquellos personajes realizados por él mismo a principio de los 80´s.

Alejandro Arango is a Mexican painter and sculptor who has extensively exhibited nationally. His works are featured in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art (US), the Museum of Contemporary Art (Mexico) and the Collection of Latin American Art (Chile), to name a few. Arango’s inspiration has always been the human being in all of its phases. He works mainly in oil but also uses mixed media such as wood, paper, and occasionally vintage objects.
