This portrait emerged from my fascination with combining classical elegance and contemporary color expression. I wanted to create someone who feels timeless yet completely modern, refined yet bold.
The profile view gives this piece its classical foundation - that graceful neck, the elegant nose and delicate features rendered with soft, realistic brushwork. Her porcelain skin has subtle modeling that creates dimension.
The hair becomes this magnificent… abstract sculpture of bold brushstrokes - hot pink and crimson red at the base, flowing into turquoise, sunshine yellow, deep blue, and orange at the crown.
