About this artwork
The work "Before Storm" is about the quiet, intense moment just before a thunderstorm – a moment when nature, light, and atmosphere noticeably change. I am particularly interested in this transition: when calm and tension exist simultaneously, and the landscape seems almost frozen in time.
This work arose from my fascination with natural moods and emotions. For me, landscape is not just a place, but a vehicle for feelings. The golden field represents… warmth, life, and familiarity, while the darkening sky brings with it a quiet unease and anticipation. This interplay is reminiscent of inner human states—moments of pause before something changes.
