In this sea oil painting, I captured the shifting light and fleeting atmosphere of the early sunset over ocean. The seascape evokes a space between presence and memory. The transient moment when warm sunset light softens and time appears to slow form the foundation of the artwork.
The warm, glowing light reflects on the wet beach sand evokes a sense of peace and carefree happiness. Presence of children reflects both the joy of the present and the… freedom of carefree childhood. I wanted to bring the viewer into this serene moment, where connection with nature and simple pleasures fills the soul.
