About this artwork
In this sculpture, the tiger becomes a threshold body: an animal presence, a primal instinct, and an emotional surface traversed by traces, drips, and nervous signs. The white of the material does not pacify the form, but rather renders it vulnerable, almost exposed; the blues, blacks, and reds seem to surface like internal impulses, mental tensions that settle on the body and alter its perception.
Part of the Neurosfera series, this work explores… the ongoing dialogue between thought, organism, and environment: what happens in the mind isn't invisible, but is imprinted on posture, skin, and the surrounding space. The tiger, a symbol of strength and control, appears here imbued with a powerful fragility: it doesn't lose its energy, but makes it legible. A predator carrying its own internal map.

Born and working in the province of Brescia, Alessandro Noci is a contemporary artist who explores the emotional and instinctive dimension of abstraction. His poetics stems from the idea that "abstract art is emotion dissociated from logic," a principle that guides every gesture and layering of color. Self-taught, Noci constructs a personal language of movement, energy, and matter: dense, vibrant fields of color that become projections of inner states. His canvases, often large in format, take the form of dynamic spaces in which color transforms into visual energy, capturing the moment when instinct meets awareness. Rooted in the tradition of European Abstract Expressionism, Noci renews its legacy with a contemporary, gestural approach, in which chance and intention coexist harmoniously, generating a sensorial and contemplative dialogue between the work and the viewer.
