About this artwork
With the term "galaxy" the artist wants to recall the universe, the space that contains the celestial bodies, the world in its complexity.
The way in which the artist creates the work, the strength and impetus of the colors thrown on the canvas symbolize the gravitational force of the planets, the immensity of the universe and its fascinating mystery.
Even the choice of colors is not random. The purple of the background recalls the color of the… cosmos that represents infinite space, mystery and the unknown. The fluo green is an expression of brightness and confidence in the world in general and pushes the artist to become an integral part of it. Red is the color of fire and immediately brings the mind back to strong emotions and immediate stimuli. Even black does not take on a negative meaning, because it corresponds to the primordial chaos from which everything can be born and symbolizes the invisible and unknowable space.
