About this artwork
Libra is a depiction of a break in the status quo. In this painting one could argue that each character represents both predator and prey. A reminder that we never know who's really in charge. Libra means balance. Achieving personal balance is no simple feat.

« Art is a perfect reflection of the artist. That said, I firmly believe that what you see and what I see are equally correct, there's no wrong answer. »
Alex Cuber is an artist based in Canada whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. He employs vivid colors to represent the inner self, inner beauty, and our struggle, all of which he believes makes us unique yet also unites us. Cuber's abstract realism compositions blend both abstract and figurative artistic techniques. All of his works are painted onto aluminum with acrylics.
