About this artwork
The painting 'Intersection Point' belongs to the collection of paintings entitled 'Horizon'. This collection is revisiting the traditional representation of landscape by blending the imaginary and realistic representations. The horizon is the meeting point of our past, present, and future. The abstract forms emerging on the horizon, aim at triggering the deepest personal perception of contemporary reality, our memories, individual, cultural, and…
socio-political constructs.

« An irresistible attraction of semi-figurative art emerges from its ability to liberate and call for action. This dynamic interplay can trigger the deepest personal perceptions of the contemporary reality, our individual, cultural, and socio-political constructs. »
Alex Sojic is an artist based in Italy whose paintings have been featured in both solo and group exhibitions nationally. Her art examines the "trajectories of contemporary society", human nature, self perceptions, and interpersonal relationships. Sojic's semi-figurative compositions are intuitive and expressive. She paints using acrylics and oil on canvas.
