Music needs no translation.
JAZZ is more than a style of music – it is improvisation, freedom and the courage to find one's own rhythm.
The old record carries memories within it and acquires a new story. Snoopy plays the saxophone as if, for a moment, everything else becomes unimportant. Black and white dominate the surface – but the warm sound arises in the mind of the viewer.
The raised wooden letters… leave the round picture support and deliberately transcend its boundaries. They make visible what the series More than Black and White is about: thoughts and feelings cannot be divided into black or white.
Acrylic, mixed media and wooden letters on vinyl record. Hand-signed.
