About this artwork
This work of the Virgin Mary was born with the intention of creating a work that will leave no one indifferent.
Whoever contemplates her will feel and perceive true pain through her gaze.
True feeling is a universal language, as is this work, with my personal style combining the classical, the dreamlike, and the modern.
It pays homage to the most momentous biblical moment, the crucifixion, seen through the eyes of a mother who witnesses and mourns,… with profound pain, the loss of her son, Jesus.
