Arkhyz, the Western Caucasus, is a great place for an artist and a traveler, there are many beautiful mountains, lakes and waterfalls, one of these mountains "Sofia" is depicted in my painting, at its foot several large waterfalls fall down from the glacier, the river with the same name Sofia flows through the valley. A great place for plein airs.
