About this artwork

The finest cotton canvas was carefully primed for the delicate transparency of watercolor. The entire piece, its deep green background, was painted using pigments made from jadeite - the more vividly colored of the two minerals known as jade. This rare, natural-stone paint gives the artwork a rich, velvety texture.
Golden watercolors were applied in soft, layered touches, bringing depth and gentle light. The edges are adorned with gold acrylic, adding… an elegant finish, while protective varnish ensures lasting beauty.
Exhibited at the Irish Embassy in Kyiv in 2024, this artwork enchanted viewers with its calm and power. The golden Celtic Tree of Life against deep green symbolizes balance between the physical and spiritual worlds — a reminder of harmony, growth, and the eternal renewal of life.
