About this artwork
"United" (2023), from the “Aroma” collection, celebrates the refined beauty of purple Phalaenopsis orchids on a luminous white background (covered with white gouache).
Exhibited in a group show in Kyiv in 2023, the work later traveled in 2024 to the Odesa Art Museum and the Izmail Museum.
Its delicate petals and subtle shades captivated audiences and brought the painting into cultural circulation: it was featured in four art magazines, issued on… Ukrainian postage stamps in a limited edition, and printed on limited edition tote bags.
In 2025, inspired by this piece, an entire collection titled “Orchomania” was born, further exploring the timeless allure of orchids as symbols of harmony, beauty, and inner strength. Painted with high-quality watercolors on paper, “United” remains a centerpiece of this ongoing artistic journey.
