About this artwork
The artist painted this during the Covid-19 virus outbreak whilst in lockdown - in the absence of an opportunity to paint from a live model she used a photo that she'd taken during a painting session a few years ago. The deep red fabric and the blue/greys provide a contrasting backdrop for the pale skin of the model. A simple box frame is included in the price.

« My artwork stems from an emotional response to a place: London (where I was born) always fascinates, and cities generally. A link to the feeling of being an observer, and maybe something of an outsider. »
