About this artwork
Canada Goose - this artwork is of a creature I see often in my walks. I created this piece on the theme of animals in their homes. I worked to capture the softness of the bird’s feathers, which is a contrast to their usually difficult personalities. A hardy bird, they come back from migration in the spring in my country and the setting of my painting is based on a typical spring time sight in Canada.
