About this artwork
I started creating this series in November 2024, inspired by Harvest Festivals, Thanks Giving, Bonfire night with fire works and the leaving of autumn and entering into winter time.
The colour I used intended to juxtapose between warm autumn days and cold winter nights.
There are a total of nine piece in the series.
The series is called the Hopeful Series as it is the hopes we share of abundance from the summer and autumn taking us into winter… and beyond and this piece captures the radiating warmth and coolness to come, alongside the circles which represent hugs.
