Arun's Golden Encirclement
This vibrant series of nine paintings is a joyful tribute to the wonderful group I met while demonstrating my creative process on the South Coast. As a colourist at heart, I've channelled the sheer delight of that encounter into a symphony of happy, bright colours—fiery reds, sunny yellows, and brilliant oranges, all contrasted with deep blues. Sweeping, sea-evoking lines flow through each piece, a nod to the Arun group's… coastal home. The collection is unified by my signature application of gold leaf circles; more than a finishing touch, these luminous orbs represent the universal need for connection and serve as symbolic hugs, encircling the viewer in the same warmth and radiance of that memorable meeting.
