About this artwork
This piece began with me buying the telephone brooch at a charity shop in 2019, it had laid in my studio for a while as I could not create a piece that I felt allowed it to shine as the focal point. In 2021 I finally decided to try to make a piece and I was inspired by my life in the 70s.

Driven by a desire to upcycle discarded jewellery, she transforms sentimental fragments into expressive, emotional landscapes that pulse with renewal, nostalgia, and the joy of self-discovery.
