About this artwork
The idea for this painting came from the leaves of a fig tree, how closely they resembled the veins in the palm, each feeding the other. There are even some imprints of those leaves I used on the bottom section of the painting. Free floating color like the ocean movements in the background and the figure emerging from it, apart of it.
