"Pineapple Cake" has it's origins in the beauty of images reflected in the water. The grace of the roseate spoonbill is portrayed as it paces through the shallow wetland. Also embodied is the light and colors of the sky, the flora, and the fauna cast on the water. The bird and illusory twin stand on opposite sides of the placid mirror, basking in radiant shades of pink and green.
