Althea
France
« Painting is soul. It is a source of liberation, dreams, and an inner journey that is well outside the daily obligations and constraints that muzzle our minds and our hearts. »
Althea is an award-winning painter who resides in France where she has exhibited her works.
She believes that abstraction has the advantage as an artistic form of expression because the imaginary takes over very easily and one allows oneself to be carried away. It is important for Althea that her paintings speak, although the emotions conveyed in the creation of a piece may sometimes have the opposite effect for the viewer.
