Alvar Gullichsen is an established Finnish painter who has exhibited his work nationally. His current series is directly concerned with transcultural visual pattern imagery– an exploration of a geometric language full of infinite possibilities. Additionally influenced by his ongoing inquiries into shamanistic, transcendental experiences and traditions, he composes paintings that boast dynamic colours, forms and perspectives.
