About this artwork
I took this picture from a ferry—it was the ferry from Olbia (Sardinia) to Livorno (Tuscany)—the sun is already low in the sky, the sea is calm, and the ferry is ploughing its way through the Mediterranean—the sunlight is reflected in the furrows. I altered the color of the picture in the spirit of expressionism to enhance the effect.

I utilize expressionistic distortion techniques and ICM to create "images that are somewhat outside the ordinary."
