This painting deals with the personalities within a single person.
Not as fixed identities, but as inner parts that are related to each other.
The figures are arranged side by side, forming an internal hierarchy. Some come to the forefront, others remain in the background or appear hidden. Various mechanisms operate between them, influencing the internal balance. These mechanisms are color-coded: red, green, and… yellow represent different internal processes, impulses, and control mechanisms.
The image doesn't portray humans as a single entity, but as a system. A system that is self-organizing, contradictory, and yet functions. The faces are mask-like, sometimes exaggerated – suggesting that we don't always know which part is acting.
This work, too, was created without artistic intention in the classical sense.
