About this artwork
In the silence of a stage devoid of figures, absence becomes an active presence. The character doesn't appear, but is intuited: evoked by the spaces, suggested by the traces, preserved in what remains. The work removes the figure to allow a more intimate and universal dimension to emerge. In this suspension, the relationship between presence and absence is reversed: what is missing becomes the protagonist, and the character dissolves to multiply…
into invisible possibilities. The stage is no longer a place of action, but a space of waiting and imagination, where identity is not revealed, but constructed in the gaze of the observer.
