Amanda Flowers is an American artist who believes that art reminds young black children to stay open-minded about the world around them, as well as remain confident in their individuality, maintain resilience within their passions in the most positive light. She also strives to push adults to go beyond their false beliefs and to see from other perspectives.
These concepts allow Flowers to break her own mental walls, challenging herself to create beyond a false standard of value.
