About this artwork
In creating this piece, I poured my heart into blending vivid colors and lifelike details, capturing the gentle curiosity and grace of this giraffe.
With the largest heart among land animals, the giraffe embodies compassion and perspective. In Nonviolent Communication, it stands tall above judgment, seeing the bigger picture with empathy. By contrast, the jackal—small, earthbound, and critical—reminds us of the pull toward blame. This work invites… viewers to choose the giraffe’s way: to speak from the heart, to listen with openness, and to rise above the ground of conflict. I painted this one from the heart and used alot of expressive brushstrokes to depict the freedom of living with an open Heart.
