About this artwork
I painted this to celebrate the year of the fire horse as well as my graduation from the Mastery Program. In order to graduate, I had to create a cohesive body of work and now that I have graduated, I am free to paint whatever I like. The horse running through the lake as the sun rises symbolizes how I feel moving into the energy of the new year and now that I am free to create any subject matter.
