About this artwork
Doves was inspired by my travel encounters in Bangkok, Thailand. The color combinations were influenced by Bangkok's bright pink and green taxi's and three wheeled tuk tuks, flashy street signs and their golden temples. During that time, I was "falling in love" with the country, and the doves in the painting symbolize love and peace in a new traveled country.
