With resin, sand, and pigments, I've layered minimalism with touches of realism and semi-abstraction to evoke serenity and contemplation. It's the pause in a busy life, a horizon that grounds yet inspires, bringing a breath of calm energy to any space it inhabits.

Ana Hefco is a U.S.-based artist whose work is held in private collections in over 30 countries. Her paintings have been presented in numerous solo exhibitions nationally. Drawing inspiration from the ocean, Hefco investigates themes of fluidity, depth, and transparency through a materially driven practice. She works with gesso, resin, and pigments on wood, employing both hand-applied techniques and controlled heat processes to produce layered surfaces that evoke movement, light, and spatial complexity.
