This artwork was inspired by the snow in the outdoor landscape and its beautiful details. When the snow starts to melt when temperatures rise, we can see spots of melted snow as a hope for new life and nature's rebirth after a long winter. With a minimalistic intention, I used epoxy resin and crushed glass on a white canvas to create a textured, sparkling expanse. At its center, the grass, partially painted green and then covered in epoxy resin,… is a simple spot that stands out from the white background.
