About this artwork
The idea for this piece came to me after a walk in a small Spanish port. I saw a cat staring suspiciously at a dog, and imagined what might happen if a turtle minding its own business, and a fish just... flew overhead. Why not? In the City of Dreams, anything can happen.
Part of my City of Dreams and Happy Tails series, this piece invites you into a joyful, imaginative world. This painting is a celebration of playful chaos, unexpected friendships,… and the charm of Mediterranean rooftops. It will bring a smile to any room, from kitchen to office, and makes a fun gift for anyone who’s ever dreamed of having a flying pet.
