About this artwork
“The Art of Doing Nothing” is part of the The Art of Siesta series — a love letter to Mediterranean stillness and the quiet presence of animals in our lives.
This painting invites you into a sun-drenched world where time slows down —
where dogs nap peacefully on warm cushions, soft afternoon light fills the room, and color becomes emotion.
The relaxed white terrier stretches across a dreamlike interior of glowing oranges, pinks, and sky blues, creating… a feeling of warmth, comfort, and gentle escape.
Loose brushwork and layered textures capture the imperfect beauty of everyday life — intimate, playful, and deeply human.
This artwork is about softness, silence, and the beauty of doing nothing.
A visual pause.
A warm breeze.
A siesta shared with those who feel more than they speak.
