This playful diptych was created as a set — a bright, joyful exploration of texture and color.
I used only a palette knife and pure intuition, letting each stroke blend into a candy-like rhythm of pinks, reds, sky blues, and pops of green.
These two pieces speak to each other — like a conversation in color.

Krykun, a mixed media artist, brilliantly blends acrylic base and texture pastes with charcoal, pencils, sepia, and fineliners. She combines abstract painting with graphic elements creating dynamic, multi-layered paintings filled with energetic lines and brush strokes that alternates between broad, expressive brushstrokes and fine, graphic lines. In her work, you will find familiar forms reinterpreted through abstract compositions that play with contrasts of smooth curves and geometric distortions.
