About this artwork
"Himiko" is a deeply personal exploration of mystery and power. Using bold lines, textured layers, and a vibrant palette, I aimed to capture the regal essence of the ancient Queen Himiko—her strength, wisdom, and enigma.
I was inspired by the story of Queen Himiko, a figure who has fascinated me for her blend of leadership and mysticism. She embodied authority and spirituality, qualities I wanted to translate into an abstract portrait. Through this… piece, I sought to honor her timeless legacy, creating a work that invites the viewer to feel her presence and connect with her mysterious world.
