You can find traces of a celebration everywhere, such as champagne bottles, balloons and party decorations. It is the most impossible place to host a party. German painter André Schulze was always fascinated by the colorful graffiti in his hometown, leading him to experiment with graffiti himself, and later study fine art. Schulze is fascinated by things from the past: architecture, advertising, technology, and cars. Often working from photographic templates that he either took himself or pulled from old magazines and books, Schulze then reassembles these images in his oil paintings- enriching them with surreal or ironic details.
