About this artwork
Autumn light effects on the lake. The forest that decorates the lake is in full autumn color, where the golds and reddish, orange, combine with the violets and blues of the water, creating a scene, relaxing and full of beauty.
The painting is painted on a texture base, with several layers of paint with the dragging technique widely used by Gerhard Richter and incorporating Pollok's paint throwing.
In reality the work almost reaches abstraction,… but allowing the viewer to imagine an idyllic landscape.
The execution of the work on the canvas derives from impressionism, adding several more current techniques, to create a personal and unique work of the artist.
The elongated format gives immensity and decorates any room, with the force of nature, which we have to take care of and feel within it.

Andrés Rueda is an artist based in Spain whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Germany, the Netherlands, France, and China. Considering himself a descendant of French Impressionism, his vibrant and expressive works... Born in Spain in 1956, he considers himself a citizen of the world. He is a prominent Neo-Impressionist painter. From an early age, he felt a deep attraction to painting and, as a street painter, he made his way to exhibit in internationally renowned galleries. Some of these galleries include those in Barcelona, California, the Netherlands, Madrid, China, Paris, and Castellón. His work is distributed throughout Spain, Germany, Argentina, France, Luxembourg, China, the United States, and London, among major art collectors.
