About this artwork
Tree branch next to the river, with autumn colors. The work is worked with collage, glued on the canvas fabric, to create textures and plastic richness, the background is an abstraction based on the reflections of the river current. Colors melted on an extra dense gesso, inspired by Renaissance frescoes, where the paint blends with the wall. On the canvas, of course, they are current and durable materials, but they create a Florentine atmosphere.…
The branch is worked with warm colors, pinks, reds, oranges, Venetian reds, revealing the bluish, yellowish, violet background, etc. As the colors merge, new nuances are created.

Andrés Rueda is an artist based in Spain whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Germany, the Netherlands, France, and China. Considering himself a descendant of French Impressionism, his vibrant and expressive works... Born in Spain in 1956, he considers himself a citizen of the world. He is a prominent Neo-Impressionist painter. From an early age, he felt a deep attraction to painting and, as a street painter, he made his way to exhibit in internationally renowned galleries. Some of these galleries include those in Barcelona, California, the Netherlands, Madrid, China, Paris, and Castellón. His work is distributed throughout Spain, Germany, Argentina, France, Luxembourg, China, the United States, and London, among major art collectors.
