About this artwork
In Peoples, Benetti develops a reflection on the origins of humanity and the sacred value of each individual within society. The work is structured as a constellation of stylized figures, using a language reminiscent of primordial symbolism but reworked with a contemporary sensibility. The anthropomorphic forms, arranged in a calibrated rhythm, suggest a plural and interconnected humanity, in which each presence maintains its dignity while contributing…
to the overall harmony. The use of Paleolithic pigments from the Fumane cave, provided by the University of Ferrara, lends a material depth that engages with the distant memory of the creative act. This technical choice introduces a timeless dimension, rooting the artist's vision in a symbolic terrain that unites past and future. Peoples becomes a hymn to the common human origin and to the possibility of a Europe founded on respect for differences and the centrality of the individual.

Andrea Benetti is the author of the Manifesto of Neo-Rock Art, presented at the 53rd Venice Biennale. His works have been acquired by international art collections and museums (United Nations, Vatican, Quirinale, Chamber of Deputies, etc.). Several universities have conducted graduate research on his art. He has collaborated with many universities to organize exhibitions and seminars on Neo-Rock Painting (Universities of Bari, Bergamo, Bologna, Ferrara, Johns Hopkins University, Lecce, Messina, Roma Tre, and Venice). In 2020, he won the "Nettuno d'Oro" Award from the city of Bologna. His biography appears in major encyclopedias, including Treccani, De Agostini, and WikiArt, and is translated into 45 languages on Wikipedia.
