THE SCULPTURE WITH HUMAN FEATURES APPEARS TO DISSOLVE ITSELF, REBUILD ITSELF OR REFUSE INTO A DIFFERENT FORM. IT WAS CARVED AND PAINTED WITH A CHAINSAW.

Title/Story:
PINEFINE WAS A PINEAPPLE TREE ON A SOUTH FACING SLOPE IN KARAKORUM IN HER PREVIOUS LIFE. DUE TO THE DEVASTATING FOREST FIRES OF 2008, WHICH ALSO DEVASTATED OTHER PINEAPPLE REGIONS, PINEFINE WAS HAD TO GIVE UP HER FRUIT LIFE.
THANKS TO LOCAL REBIRTH, SHE HAS NOW MATURED… TO NEW GREATNESS ON THE INDIAN SUBCONTINENT AS A BAR DANCER IN GOA. THAT IS OF COURSE A WHOLE DIFFERENT ITEM. HER COCKTAIL PREFERENCE IS CLEARLY PINACOLADA!

I have been carving sculptures with a chainsaw for 10 years. During this time, I have acquired a special technique and developed my own visual language.
My sculptures challenge the senses and ignite the imagination. With their vibrant, expressive colors and imposing dimensions, they attract the viewer's attention from afar.
They are a game of transformation in which figures with human traits appear to be dissolving, rebuilding, or otherwise merging back together. This approach creates a fascinating tension between form and dissolution.
My artistic development is therefore characterized not only by technical skill, but also by a constant search for new forms of expression and a deeper connection to my art.
