About this artwork
In this piece, I've channeled the essence of harmony and tranquility through a meticulous arrangement of lines and shapes. Striking yet soothing, the warm, sun-drenched palette and hypnotic patterns draw inspiration from minimalism and oriental art, crafting an abstract, geometric universe. Each stroke reflects a moment of contemplation, offering a meditative focal point that vibrates with inviting energy, ready to infuse any space with a sense of… balance and introspection.
« Art, for me, is a context to slow the viewer’s experience from their everyday life in order to think about things they have never thought about. »
Andrea Pallang is a painter, photographer, and sculptor based in Slovakia whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Serbia. Her minimalistic, geometric, and textural works explore the concepts of time and traces. Pallang employs a non-objective reduction artistic method. The horizontal nature of her compositions symbolizes how we want to view the world and the creation of a sense of order.
