The artist Andrea Schnell, born in Lower Austria in 1956, works on figurative painting, drawings and collages. Her main focus has been on illustration and drawn painting. She completed her studies at the Vienna School of Graphics and Design as well as a seminar in painting under Strawalde at the Salzburg Summer Academy.
