Andrea Thierbach, a talented painter, uses different media such as ink fineliners, liquid black ink, acrylic paint and in her latest works she even incorporates collages of plant parts and photo prints. Her technique is intuitive, she often starts with black ink applied to wet paper, only slightly influencing the flow of the paint. Later, she adds contrasting colors such as gold, red or turquoise and in her latest works she uses acrylic paint for overpainting and shape changes. Her artworks are an expression of deep emotions and spiritual insights, they tell of mindfulness, change, renewal and a life in abundance.
