this series is inspired by recycled materials, using the waste we have on a daily to create texture, he used plastic the canvas was wrapped in, poured plaster and glueing and melting then he finally sealed it with a silicon to preserve .

Andreas Anastasis is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist who resides in New York City. The British painter, photographer, sculptor, and short film director also has a background in fashion and owns a hair studio. Anastasis believes that dark times are moments of reflection, and creativity is a way of getting himself through it. For him, being isolated opened "a whole new level of raw consciousness", with endless days to create and experiment with different materials and textures, he realized who he is.
