The concept of intemperance is of course very related to the meaning of excessiveness in terms of content. In the canon of the seven deadly sins, he basically… describes all of the bodily sensual friends in which the sinner can lose himself, if practiced to excess: drunkenness, gluttony and gluttony, which ultimately always lead to sloth and thus distance man from God.
The orgiastic scenery is surrounded, resembling a Roman feast, by a cornucopia – an old mythological symbol for luck, but also for abundance – from which the treasures of desire flow endlessly.

Andreas Noßmann is a draftsman based in Germany whose works have been exhibited nationally and in the Netherlands. Having always been fascinated by topics that touch or disturb, his artistic practice is also marked by his requirement for "a perfect graphic implementation". Noßmann's distinctive and diverse landscapes, portraits, and still-lifes are created with pastels, graphite, pencils, India ink, chalk, and charcoal on paper, canvas, or cardboard.
