The story of Judith and Holofernes is one of the most impressive narratives in biblical literature and is primarily preserved in the Book of Judith, which found its place in the Greek Septuagint (also called the Greek Old Testament –… the oldest complete translation of the Hebrew-Aramaic Bible into the ancient Greek vernacular, Koine). It is not a historical chronicle, but a theological and symbolic narrative that focuses on the courage of a single woman against the overwhelming power of an enemy general.
« Even in my early youth, I wanted to be a great artist. I don't know why. »
